The Menu System / Filter Menu

In addition to browsing for documents users have the option to perform a search within the currently selected folder.

Select Show-Filters-Menu and the fields shown below will appear.
Or, Hide-Filters-Menu to "minimise" the fields.

Show-Filters

The Filter menu displays the following fields

Containing Text:

This prompt allows you to search for documents within the folder by content.

Named:

This prompt allows you to search for documents within the folder by name.

Search for:

This prompt allows you to search by type (Folders or Documents). Leaving this blank will allow you to search for both.

Document Type:

This prompt allows you to search for documents by the document type assigned to them.

Format:

This prompt allows you to search for documents within the folder by format (Images, videos, Office documents etc.).

  • Enter text or select an option from one or more of the fields,
  • Either press the Enter key or click on the Filter button to initiate the search.
  • The number of documents displaying for the selected folder should reduce depending on search criteria used.

Note

These Filters will apply to all folders until you choose to click on the Reset Button
