Symptoms

Database connection fails at application startup.

RESOLUTION

This error occurs when infoRouter tries to connect to a corrupt or invalid MAGIQ Documents database.

Check the IRWEB.DSN file located in the Application Path. (c:\MAGIQ\Documents\irweb.dsn). Open IRWEB.DSN with a text editor such notepad.

For MYSQL and MS SQLSERVER, make sure that the Database parameter points to a valid MAGIQ Documents database.

For ORACLE, make sure that the SERVER parameter points to a valid service for the MAGIQ Documents database.
