Word or Excel Connector / Overview

The Word or Excel Connector delivers a faster method of saving/archiving into MAGIQ Documents without having to open separate modules (such as Document Workbench) and to automate the capture of meta data from the original document/spreadsheet. The Word or Excel Connector also provides the ability to edit a document or spreadsheet either online or offline.

Features include:

  • Display MAGIQ Documents folders in a separate "MAGIQ Documents” panel within Word or Excel for document registration.
  • Set Preferences for MAGIQ Word or Excel Connector including default Document Type.
  • Auto-complete MAGIQ Documents Meta Data fields (e.g. Document Name & Document Description).
  • Restore a previous document version.
  • Edit documents offline.
