Not a Version 8 database

Symptoms:

Database connection fails at application startup.

Resolution:

This error occurs if you are pointing a to valid but older version of a MAGIQ Documents database.

Check the IRWEB.DSN file located in the Application Path. (c:\MAGIQ\documents\irweb.dsn).

Open IRWEB.DSN with a text editor such as notepad.

For MYSQL and MS SQLSERVER, make sure that the Database parameter points to a valid MAGIQ Documents database.

For ORACLE, make sure that the SERVER parameter points to a valid service for the MAGIQ Documents database.
