Outlook Connector / Overview

The Outlook Connector delivers a faster method of saving/archiving emails into MAGIQ Documents without having to open separate modules (such as Document Workbench) and to automate the capture of meta data from the original email.

Features include:

  • Display MAGIQ Documents folders in a separate "MAGIQ Documents” panel within Outlook to enable drag and drop of emails.
  • When composing a new email – the ability to insert an MAGIQ document (same as the "Attach File" process for inserting documents from local PC).
  • Set Preferences for MAGIQ Outlook Connector including default Document Type.
  • Auto-complete MAGIQ Documents Meta Data fields based on Email (e.g. Correspondent Name & Document Description).
  • Outlook Action After Save: choice of None, Delete or Prefix Email Subject with Document ID.
  • Save email into MAGIQ Documents as a .msg for opening in outlook from MAGIQ Documents.
