Open Tasks

Clicking open-tasks-icon opens the task window or use the task action dropdown menu item open task.

Complete Task

Once all required actions are completed, allows the user to complete the task. If the permission of 'change Finish Date' was granted, you may also change the finish date of this task.

Task Comment

Allows the user to add and edit task comments - these comments are not permanent until the task has been completed.

Once the task has been completed, these comments are permanent and may not be altered.

Task comments are also searched by using the documents containing text search field.

Postpone

Tasks can be postponed until another date. Only permitted if the Task Permission 'Postpone Task' has been granted.

Change Priority

Task priority can be changed if the Task Permission 'Change priority' has been granted.

Add Attachment

Attach an existing document to the task, such as a photo.

The attached document is not associated. A list of attached documents is shown on the right hand side of the Task window.

Attached documents may be removed by clicking delete-icon to the right of the document name.
Attached documents remain in the Task and Workflow history.

Create Associated Task

Allows the document to be sent to another user via a Task. This action does not remove this task from your task list.

The additional (ad-hoc) task becomes a part of the workflow definition for only this instance. It does NOT alter the "master" workflow definition.

Reassign Task

Reassigns this task to the specified user. Allows the due date to be changed and new Task Instructions to be added. This action will remove this task from your task list.

If you are going on leave, apply a task redirection and select another user who can complete the tasks on your behalf.

Delete Task

If the Task Permission 'Delete Task' has been granted and the Library Policy allows it, this option will delete this task from your task list.

Document Properties

Opens the document properties screen.

Show Workflow

Only visible for documents sent via Workflow.

Displays all steps and tasks within the workflow that generated this task.

Edit Document

Allows users to make changes to documents providing the folder rule and library policy allows it.

Check Out

Allows users to check out the document for editing.
