Tasks / Introduction to MAGIQ Documents Tasks¶
Tasks are document related job assignments that must be performed by MAGIQ Documents users.
Tasks can be assigned by authorized users to other MAGIQ Documents users.
Task assignees receive e-mail notifications for every task assigned to them and they can also track their tasks in the Tasks window.
There are two types of tasks:¶
- Tasks assigned by other users.
- Workflow tasks.
Tasks assigned by other users¶
These types of task are assigned by other users by clicking on the Action menu > Create Task.
These types of tasks can involve one or more of the following requests/requirements.
Edit¶
This requires the task assignee to edit the document to complete the task. It must be accompanied by an edit permission.
Read latest version¶
This requires the task assignee to read the latest version of the document to complete the task.
Read published version¶
This requires the task assignee to read the published version of the to complete the task. It must be accompanied by an edit permission.
Provide task comments¶
This requires the task assignee to enter task comments to complete the task.
Provide ISO comments¶
This requires the task assignee to enter ISO comments to complete the task. ISO comments are stored in a special log file which can be used to verify that regular ISO reviews have been performed.
Provide SOX comments¶
This requires the task assignee to enter SOX comments to complete the task. SOX comments are stored in a special log file which can be used to verify that regular SOX reviews have been performed.
Dispose document¶
This requires the task assignee to dispose the document to complete the task.
Archive document¶
This requires the task assignee to archive the document to complete the task.
Downgrade classification level¶
This requires the task assignee to downgrade the classification level of the document to complete the task.
Declassify document¶
This requires the task assignee to declassify the document to complete the task.
Workflow Tasks:¶
These types of tasks are assigned to users as a part of an ongoing workflow process and can involve the same requirements listed above.
